Softares Group was formed in year 2000 from professionals specializing in software development. All the specialists involved had at least 6-8 years experience in desiging and developing complex software systems, and decided to join efforts in developing and supporting quality software. By the time our group was formed, all of developers have already participated in many big projects and worked in worldwide known companies. The background we had was wide: from multimedia to networking, and from database to telephony systems and applications.

    Our main area of interests has always been system programming for Microsoft Windows amd Unix, mostly FreeBSD and Linux. This means we know and use most of technologies and APIs related to these operating systems, including tools and methods to debug and support produced software. We use Microsoft Visual C++ to develop software for Microsoft Windows, and C/C++ code to write Unix parts of systems. We can also do web development, using ASP or PHP or any other technology, if it is required by project structure, but we do not specialize in projects requiring just web development and nothing else.

We also use a lot of tools helping us to cooperate effectively in development group(s). These tools include CVS (with WinCVS at client side), Microsoft Visual Source Safe, Microsoft Visio, plus our own issue/bug tracking system.
